UPDF Boosts Soldiers’ Welfare with New Housing and Security Facilities at Kakiri Headquarters
The Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) has commissioned 36 new housing units and a quarter guard at the 1 Infantry Division Headquarters in Kakiri, with military leaders saying the facilities will ease accommodation challenges, improve soldiers’ welfare, and enhance operational readiness.
